The villa
Built around 1920 above Domaso, this detached villa enjoys sunshine and 180-degree views of Lake Como. Renovated in 2011–12, it preserves its original Art Nouveau character and partially restored wall paintings. The roughly 500 m² garden features an 8 x 4 m pool, outdoor shower, loungers, barbecue and a covered terrace of about 100 m². On the ground floor are a spacious modern kitchen, a large living room with sofa bed, a double bedroom and a bathroom. A stone staircase leads to two double bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms and a lovely lake-view balcony. Walking trails connect the villa to Domaso and Vercana, with restaurants, supermarkets and shops. Como, Lecco, Milan and Valtellina are accessible for outings. Nearby activities include water sports, tennis, golf, boat hire, hiking and mountain biking. On request, the owners can arrange restaurant and beauty appointments, extra cleaning, laundry, shopping and massages at the villa.
