Caloye

The villa

Renovated in 2022, Caloye is a spacious 200 m² villa for eight in a leafy hamlet, 3 km from Magescq, 8 km from Soustons and its lake, and 17 km from sandy beaches. Its private 8,000 m² grounds feature trees, a natural pond and a 10 x 5 m pool, 1.75 m deep, open May–October with a safety cover. Access is via a 100 m unpaved track; parking accommodates three cars. The bright, two-storey interior includes a 70 m² living/dining room with fireplace and air conditioning, a small study with flat-screen TV and an open kitchen with oven, dishwasher, induction hob, microwave and Nespresso machine. Two downstairs bedrooms have king-size beds; upstairs, two twin bedrooms each have a basin and shower. There is also a bath/shower room and two separate toilets. Two balconies and two partly covered terraces overlook the lake, pool and forest, with outdoor furniture, a portable barbecue and eight loungers. Heating, a washing machine, dryer and iron are provided. Golf is 21 km away; Seignosse and Hossegor are nearby. This noise-sensitive setting requires quiet, considerate behaviour.
