Castello Buonconvento

The Castello Buoncovento is a villa of prestige situated within a 600 hectare estate on the hills of the Val d'Orcia, nestled between Siena and Montalcino. This place, heavy with history, has been recognized by UNESCO and considered as a key reference point for the area. It is surrounded by a park of oak and holm oak trees and is reached along an avenue completely adorned with cypress trees. Also, mainly consisting of a 16th century villa and a sturdy tower, the Castello Buoncovento has been put under conservative renovation work by the owners in order to meet modern day requirements. The castle is divided in four main areas: the ground floor, the first floor, the second floor, and the tower.
