The villa
Claux de Bouscou is a lovingly restored farmhouse with converted dovecote, grain store and bread-oven building, offering 400 m² for up to 18 guests, with eight bedrooms and five bathrooms. Original beams, honey-coloured stone walls and a timber minstrels' gallery sit alongside handcrafted elm and walnut details. The 3,000 m² grounds include a heated 14 × 5 m pool with a 5 × 3 m paddling area just 30 cm deep. Enjoy table tennis, space for football, badminton and boules, orchard picnics, secluded walled gardens, a hammock and a rotating daybed. Poolside terraces overlook fields towards the Pyrenean foothills, while a fire pit invites relaxed evenings outdoors. The high-ceilinged living room has comfortable furnishings, a wood-burning stove, underfloor heating and cooling, and a 60-inch TV with UK satellite channels and surround sound. A four-metre dining table seats the group for shared meals. An adjoining children's playroom contains toys, games, books, dressing-up costumes, soft toys and another TV.
