This former eighteenth-century Provençal farmhouse has been tastefully and meticulously restored as a warm and modern dwelling with high-end amenities.  The spacious villa can comfortably accommodate up to 12 guests in its six rooms. One of its major assets is the huge 12-meter swimming pool affording breathtaking views of Mont Ventoux. Flawlessly renovated, this beautiful eighteenth-century Provençal farmhouse has retained its historical character but is now perfectly equipped for your comfort. It lies in a wonderfully quiet spot, just outside the village of Pernes-les-Fontaines, yet is not isolated. You will also be just 10 minutes from Isle sur la Sorgue. The refined decorative style perfectly embodies the notion of “Mas Provençal”: the interior is charming yet relaxed, brimming with treasures gleaned from antique markets given a new lease of life. There are some beautiful items like the piano in the main living room, the heart of the house. You will appreciate the coolness of the stone in summer. On the ground floor, the living area around the fireplace is like a little cabinet of curiosities with its frames, silver candle holders and glass bells. With sofas either side of a wooden coffee table, the lounge is the perfect place to chat, leaf through magazines or read books. As is the case in almost every room of the house, you can also admire the magnificent exposed beams. A door from the living room takes you into the separate modern kitchen with its dining table. In this friendly and well-appointed area, you will find everything you need to prepare and enjoy some delicious meals: a dishwasher, microwave oven, kitchen utensils, refrigerator, grill, hob, Nespresso coffee maker and filter coffee maker, oven, toaster and more! Don’t miss Pernes-les-Fontaines market on Saturday morning where you can stock up on the region’s delicious produce! The six bedrooms in “Mas de Mestre” are comfortable and equipped with high-end bedding. All the rooms are located upstairs, three rooms have two king-size single beds 1m x 2m and three rooms have a super-king-size double bed 2m x 2m. Upstairs, there is also find a charming lounge with sofas, a television and bookshelves full of books and magazines. Two bedrooms share a large bathroom with shower and bath, as well as a separate WC.  The third bedroom has an adjoining private bathroom and WC.  The fourth bedroom has a private shower and a double basin. Finally, the fifth and sixth bedrooms share a fourth bathroom with WC.  There is a fifth bathroom in the pool house, as well as 2 separate WC in the communal living areas. The grounds are divided into three contemporary outdoor areas. First, there is a planted pergola set among the stones in the courtyard between the old farm buildings. This delightful space has two tables that are perfect for al fresco dining, unless you prefer the summer terrace in the shade of the farmhouse with its coffee tables and sofa offering views over the garden. Or follow the large stepping stones down to the blue waters of the huge 13 x 5 m swimming pool surround by lush vegetation. The vast covered pool-side terrace offers a breath-taking view and has everything you need for relaxing with family and friends, including tables, benches, lighting, a bar and barbecue. Around the pool, relax and top up your tan on the sun loungers. On the nearby lawn, the original pergolas cast a welcome shade, ideal if you want to enjoy the fresh air even during the hottest part of the day.  Each guest can enjoy life at their own pace in the vast outdoor space! At Mas de Mestre, you are just minutes away from the centre of Pernes les Fontaines. Take the time for a stroll through its pretty narrow streets, explore the 41 fountains that gave the town its name, and enjoy its charming shops and restaurants. From your Mas at the foot of Mont Ventoux, the whole of Vaucluse awaits with an array of activities, walks and visits. Take the villages of Luberon and their charming narrow streets, for example. Gordes, Ménerbes, Bonnieux, Roussillon, Lacoste are all ideal for a ramble. The hardest part will be choosing which to visit!  You can also explore the natural environment or the region’s very rich historical and cultural heritage. Don’t miss the region’s finest antiques market on a Sunday morning in Isle-sur-la-Sorgue, just minutes from Mas de Mestre. You can also visit Avignon and its unique historical attractions, including the Palais des Papes and the Pont d’Avignon.
