The villa
Built in 2011, this welcoming detached villa sits among trees and fields in a quiet residential area, 6.6 km from Ponte de Lima and 200 m from the river. The southwest-facing, 350 m² home spans two floors, with six twin bedrooms, each with an en-suite shower/WC and electric heater. Four bedrooms are downstairs; upstairs are two more and a living room with flat-screen cable TV. The open kitchen has an oven, dishwasher, induction hob, microwave, freezer, coffee maker and dining table. Terrace access, a gazebo, outdoor furniture and loungers invite relaxation with mountain, pool, garden and river views. The private 3 x 9 m pool is 80–150 cm deep and open April–October. Wi-Fi, a washing machine, iron, high chair, cot for under-twos, hairdryer and nearby parking are provided. Groceries, a restaurant and bakery are 700 m away; the river beach is 8.9 km away. Golf, horse riding and waterfalls are nearby; Braga Cathedral is 45 km away. Family-friendly; a car is recommended. Luggage loading and unloading is possible at the villa.
