The villa

Whilst accompanied by a small number of exclusive houses, Tiha is the last house on a private road surrounded by pure nature. The charming villages of Sumartin and Selca are less than 2 kilometers away, one having a lovely harbor, both have a few necessary shops, restaurants and cafes. Villa Tiha is fully staffed so that guests can relax and enjoy the beautiful villa and surrounding areas. It is not unusual that foreign nationals come on holiday to Croatia and at the same time discover the beauty that fascinates them so much that they decide to create a second home here. That situation compelled an English couple to search for the perfect location and found their peace on the island of Brač. The owners turned to a leading Croatian architect for professional help and together they worked to create this unique home. From a simple sketch through to the final precise detail they have created various wonderful light filled spaces using only natural materials: local stone, combed oak, linen fabrics and top quality Italian furniture. Tiha’s façade has been created with large Brac stone quarried locally and assembled with great care by reputed Croatian craftsmen. This magnificent stone work is complimented by contemporary opening glass sliding walls and balustrades, the result is a place that pleases the senses and relaxes the soul.
