Linda our house manager was excellent. We liked the breakfast every morning as well as the rooftop pool and barbecue. If there was an issue it was resolved quickly. Communication was excellent. Good experience with Villanovo.

Don't hesitate, book the Villa! It is a beautiful home in an exquisite setting. Only about an hour from Porto but feels like you are in another world. Situated close enough to explore the Douro wine region or the Vine Verde wine region (we did both). However, we ended up staying at the home, using the pool, and just having wine on the porch soaking in the views more than we anticipated. The house manager Linda is an absolute delight. She was friendly, helpful, and a wonderful person. She made a fantastic breakfast spread each morning and even helped with laundry. She was always willing to help. Nuno communicated extremely well throughout and was able to provide recommendations and help with

The views are stunning. Rooms (all en-suite) are clean, comfortable and with great air con. Linda, who comes in daily to prepare a wonderful breakfast each morning (warm croissants, fresh bread, cereals, meats, cheeses, bacon & eggs, juices and coffee) and to clean was friendly and helpful, and host Nuno was an easy contact on WhatsApp to provide recommendations and answer questions. Any minor issues (e.g. a blind which wouldn't open, a blocked toilet) were fixed swiftly. But those views...whether from the balconies (plural) or from the pool/garden area. Wow.
