Other than that (see below) i would like to empathize that they were very polite and more than forthcoming in early check in on the day of arrival and as well on the check out time of the day of departure, as some of our guests flight was very late an night, this we appreciated a lot as they could stay in the guest house until 6pm. Also for our dog it was absolutely perfect, the whole grounds are fenced so we could let him be free without worrying. Also there was a beautiful beach 10 minute walk from the house which had many dogs and was perfect for walks in the morning and playtime with other dogs. We were overall very happy with our stay in Corsica at Villa du Cap, only thing that left a bit of a „bitter aftertaste“ was the house manager marketed as the chef. We have stayed in different houses in the past and hired private chefs so our expectations were set on what to expect, which then was not quite met with Regis, the house manager preparing the meals. For a chef we‘d expect someone having studied at cullinary school and bring a certain amount of creativity and dedication into the meals. The food was not bad, just not at a private chef level that we would have expected. He did not make the greatest effort to cater to our needs. For example we requested figs for breakfast after we h
