The villa
Located between sea and mountain in the North of Corsica, Villa Il Mulino is an old oil mill of the 18th century. This charming countryside property with 7 bedrooms, 5 bathrooms, swimming pool, and a very beautiful olive garden of 1 hectare, is the perfect place for nature and tranquillity lovers. This property is close to the pretty village of Lama in the North of Corsica, and is 9 minutes from the beach of Ostriconi, near Ile Rousse and Cap Corse. Staying at Villa Il Mulino is also an opportunity to discover Lama European Film Festival, which takes place every summer in the first week of August in Lama and was founded in 1994 by some people in the village, and the rural world and lifestyle. L'espace, l'équipement, la piscine soignée, les extérieurs .. Villanovo à recommander absolument, aussi pour le suivi des services de réservation toujours actifs
La clim manquante dans une chambre, quelques petits manques techniques par ex une douche à main seulement, l'accès mal marqué sur la route

Nous sommes partis entre amis et avons adoré le lieu! Merci à la propriétaire pour ses conseils précieux sur les environs, les petits commerces et les plages et les villages ! Nous avons beaucoup profité du moulin, pour son coté chaleureux, ses extérieurs spacieux, et sa déco typique. La piscine et le jardin sont vite devenus le lieu de rendez vous de nos journées! Et nous avons adoré nous retrouver le soir autour d'un barbecue sur la terrasse. Superbe maison dans un lieu atypique !
Un peu isolée mais c'est ce qui fait son charme!

Beautiful scenery, stunning pool, lovely building. Great villa options from Villanovo
No air conditioning in one bedroom (with the mill wheel downstairs). This would not have been a problem except that there were a lot of mosquitoes and we were told to keep the windows clean so that mice did not come in. That meant this room was very hot. All other rooms had air con so adding air con to this last room would make it perfect.

Very calm location, fantastic grass around the pool and in general a house in a great location.
All staff and all communication in house was in French, not one word in English. Understand we are in French, but at least 1 page to explain or staff that can 5 words of English would have helped the start of the vacation.

Une situation au calme dans un bel environnement à l'abrit des touristes Un cadre de piscine très agréable avec une pelouse verte appréciable par ce temps de sécheresse Une maison de caractère qui a conservé tout son charme
Nous aurions préféré entendre le bruit de la rivière qui alimente la roue du moulin plutôt que les cochons sauvages et les vaches meme si cela nous a confirmé le côté champêtre de la Corse Quelques bruits provenant de la route

Le calme absolu. L absence de voisins. Les extérieurs : piscine magnifique avec environnement très agréable et ombragée par un superbe olivier. Grande capacité de logement tout en étant relativement indépendant
Un peu distante du bord de mer et obligation de prendre la voiture pour s y rendre
