Villa Marcer

Great house with lots of charm and space. Really nice outside space with loads of places to sit and things to do. Good location not too far from a local town or the beaches. All very good with Villanovo.

Amazing, unique property with lots of space to get together as a group or be on your own. Lots of bedrooms with renovated baths: a great pool, games room and gym; and two kitchens with anything you could need. Owners were accommodating and helpful. We had a wonderful time!

We held our occasional family get-together at Can Marcer de La Penya in July. We had 23 people: 13 adults and 10 children- ages 7-17. The villa was perfect for us- enough bedrooms, close to Sitges, a half-hour to Barcelona. The facilities were great- the building itself dates from the 17th century, but with modern air-conditioning, bathroom, kitchens, wonderful outdoor areas for meals and games, a sparkling salt water pool. The staff was attentive, and the owners, Ginette and Peter, were always available, with suggestions that added to our experience. All-in-all, an excellent choice.

What can I say, Can Marcer de La Penya is one of a kind! It is professionally run by the owners. The property itself is in such good condition, which is often not the case in these older buildings. The staff are all friendly and helpful and I can’t wait to return. It also served as an amazing wedding venue for us. The layout is just perfect for a small wedding, and the vendors supplied in the welcome pack were top quality and know the venue so well that you really don’t need to worry about a thing. Thank you!

Très belle propriété avec chambres spacieuses et confortables. Bon emplacement 10 min de la plage et des commerces, idéal pour grande famille, jardin très spacieux et décoré avec charme ainsi que de nombreux équipements pour jouer et se relaxer. Espace barbecue très agréable et piscine ensoleillée toute la journée.

We spent a week at Can Marcer de la Penya in July 2023 to celebrate our wedding with our family and close friends. Words cannot describe how fantastic this venue is as a holiday destination, and as a wedding venue. The stunning views were matched by the gorgeous decor of the villa - which had everything you could possibly need or want! But I really must say a MASSIVE thank you to Ginette, Peter and their team for being so welcoming, helpful and lovely through the whole visit! They really went above and beyond and I cannot thank them enough for everything they did for us. I could not recommend highly enough! Thank you so much!

18 of us stayed in the villa for an amazing family vacation. The home is beautiful and although it is a historical home it is as clean as pictured. Communication with owner is wonderful and they were very helpful with all of our needs and requests. The only regret we have is not renting the home for longer.

Just an FYI the driveway up to the house is dirt and can be quite bumpy, but the prize at the end is worth it. You will not regret choosing this rental.

Wow! Our group of 14 adults stayed for a week at Can Marcer. Prior to arrival, owners Ginette and Peter were helpful and patient - sharing a wealth of helpful information as we planned our trip. Peter met us at arrival and could not have been more welcoming and responsive to our questions during our stay. The grounds and home are inviting and very well-kept, sprinkled with charming historical features that have been preserved. The sleeping accommodations were spacious with comfortable beds and linens (we all slept very well!) and en suite bathrooms for all in our party (in big demand, but not always easy to find). Can Marcer de la Penya is truly a special gem! We had originally booked this for a a 20 person yoga retreat, but the pandemic happened...instead my family of 8 booked it for our first vacation in 2 years. Well worth the wait! The villa is both grand and homey, spacious and intimate. Each room is unique - very comfortable beds, nice linens, appointed bathrooms with shampoo/conditioner/body wash and hair dryers. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans la villa de Ginette et Peter qui ont été aux petits soins pour nous. La maison est parfaitement équipée et est très spacieuse ce qui permet à chacun d’avoir son indépendance même à plus de 20 personnes. Le cadre (quelle vue!!!) est la situation sont parfaits si vous cherchez le calme tout en étant prêt de Sitges. La villa est décorée avec beaucoup d’attention et on se sent vraiment chez soi.
