Villa Néréide

Beautiful house and location. Well equipped kitchen. Very comfortable inside and outside!

The separate shower room became smelly with bad drains after a few days we were not able to use it.

Location fantastic. We hadn’t realised there was air conditioning in this house but it was a nice bonus as we needed to use it a couple of times during the recent hot weather. Villanovo was very helpful and easy to coordinate check in etc.

Several things didn’t work properly but concierge tried her best to sort out Several lightbulbs need to be replaced Minor complaint that furniture, crockery etc not very high quality Kitchen tiny Bedrooms small with no storage in one. Master bedroom only one bedside locker and one large window without shutter/blind so definitely need eye mask to sleep properly! Master bedroom has shower en suite but WC in hallway outside!

The open space is great

Asking guests to take rubbish to bins off the premises. The closest bins to us were permanently closed, the nearest ones were a 10min cycle away. I don’t think that’s reasonable. We were also charged €300 for cleaning but then had to strip beds, empty bins and empty the dishwasher. 2 bedrooms were small with limited storage.

The villa was incredibly well equipped and spacious inside and out. We found Villanovo an excellent company to deal with and everyone we came across was very helpful indeed.

It was a bit odd having to keep the cleaning Robot in the pool!

Overall we had an excellent stay. Kitchen a bit small but well equipped.

The location was perfect-midway between the market and the beach. Luxurious villa with lots of space, loved the heated pool. Did not actually book through Villanovo, but they were managing the villa and were very responsive when needed. Will book with them next time!

Some weeds in the driveway which would need to be pulled. Very early checkout (9am, most villas are 10am). Expensive, but is very luxurious. Otherwise perfect!

Not many. Front driveway away had some weeds growing between patching which looked a little messy. No ensuite toilet in master bedroom.

The outdoor space was quite nice. We loved having the pool although too cold to use. We enjoyed our relaxing by it nonetheless. The location was the best we could imagine. So close to everything yet quite and private. Lovely village. We had a tour to see 5 of the villages of Ile de re. After that we concluded we were in the best village. Of course, we enjoyed experience each one's unique features. Comfortable, in general. Took getting used to having water closet separate from bedroom and yet was okay. Clean overall. Once we got used to kitchen we were able to navigate fine. We generally ate breakfast there. Snacks. Made one dinner there. The access to good restaurants in the village or other

We are experienced 2nd home rental owners in the US, however, we were less comfortable with the seemingly chaotic arrangement of many, many objects within the home. We were not able to access the TV. Lack of instructions for appliances and TV, etc. added difficulty to fully enjoy the property. The wi fi did not extend to the far water closet or bedroom. We did not locate a book for the property with key information, would have been helpful.
