The villa
Can Rosillo is a rustic stone villa in the countryside, just 3 km from Llucmajor. Lush Mediterranean greenery surrounds a large pool terrace, with curved Roman steps leading into the water. A fenced play area beside the pool includes a treehouse. Loungers, parasols, a pool bar, outdoor kitchen and covered terrace complete the outdoor setting. Inside, exposed wooden beams, dark door and window frames and terracotta-coloured floors blend with carefully chosen modern furnishings. The open-plan rustic kitchen has a striking mosaic floor; sofas gather around a fireplace, and a solid wood table is ideal for meals or board games. An open wooden staircase bordered by brick wine storage leads upstairs; care is needed with young children near the bottles. Three bright, comfortable double bedrooms make clever use of sloping ceilings, with open wardrobes and bookshelves tucked into recesses. There are three bathrooms, including one en suite. Llucmajor's attractive market square hosts markets on Sundays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
