The villa
Dating from 1901, Cases de Son Duc tells a story of traditional Mallorca. Its rubble-stone façade and brown shutters have been lovingly restored, preserving its farmhouse character, while animals and tractors add to the rural setting. Bougainvillea, vines, olive and citrus trees, and cacti surround this secluded retreat. A freeform pool with a surrounding terrace offers space for loungers, and a compact outdoor kitchen has a built-in barbecue. A covered dining area, shaded lounge and scattered seating spots invite quiet moments accompanied by the sounds of nature. Sustainably restored in 2000, the interiors retain exposed stone walls and substantial wooden beams. Terracotta floors and patterned ceramic tiles in the kitchen and bathrooms preserve the historic charm, while modern equipment ensures comfort. A fully equipped kitchen makes self-catering easy, and practical Mallorcan country furnishings with antique touches create welcoming living spaces.
