The villa
Reached along a winding rural lane, Conies Vell is an elegant residence set in extensive, beautifully maintained grounds. Terraces surround several sides of the house, with an idyllic garden, tall courtyard palms and a lawn where children can play. A vine-covered terrace beside the house overlooks the pool and offers a round dining table. An inviting annexe has an open lounge and dining area, with a relaxed sofa corner, an adjoining outdoor kitchen and a barbecue for leisurely alfresco meals. Lighting makes this a lovely spot to linger into the evening. A movable table tennis table and a courtyard basketball hoop provide active entertainment. The 10-metre pool has bright blue tiling and depths of 0.6–1.8 metres. Eight comfortable loungers and two parasols line the surrounding sun terrace.
