The villa

Eugenia is a comfortable three-storey, 19th-century villa renovated in 2015, centrally set on a cul-de-sac in Dervio, 700 m from the lake and 9 km from Varenna. Private enclosed grounds of 2,500 m² include a natural garden and a 4 x 10 m pool, open 15 May–15 October. The 380 m² interior has seven bedrooms and seven bathrooms, a stylish living/dining room with a decorative fireplace, and a well-equipped kitchen with oven, dishwasher and microwave. Four double bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms; upstairs are another double and two twin rooms. Gas heating, parquet and natural stone floors add comfort. Enjoy outdoor furniture, a barbecue and eight loungers. Wi-Fi, a washing machine, high chair, cot, hairdryer and parking for five cars are provided. Linen changes and cleaning are available at extra cost. Shops, restaurants and public transport are nearby; Dervio's pebble beach is 600 m away. Explore nearby villages, hiking trails and ski areas. Youth groups are not accepted. A railway line runs 50 m from the house.
