The villa

This welcoming historic country house spans two floors, with a main building and annex amid meadows, fields and vineyards, 1 km from Castellina in Chianti. Private natural grounds include a 6 x 12 m pool open 15 May–15 October, an outdoor shower, terrace, garden furniture and barbecue. The renovated 180 m² house sleeps 14 in seven bedrooms, with six bathrooms. Spacious living and dining areas feature air conditioning and satellite TV; the open kitchen includes an oven, dishwasher, eight burners, microwave and coffee maker. Bedrooms include doubles, a twin and a small attic double without a wardrobe. Central heating, a washing machine, dryer and baby equipment are provided. Parking is beside the house, reached via a very difficult, narrow 300 m track. Shops and restaurants are 1 km away, walking trails 200 m away and a bus stop 300 m away. Explore Siena, 26 km away, and Florence, 50 km away. Youth groups are accepted only on request.
