The villa
Maria de Mendia combines traditional cut-stone construction with modern style in a spacious, family-friendly villa. Surrounded by trees in a secluded, unspoilt setting, this two-storey home enjoys views of eastern Mallorca's rolling hills. Twelve outdoor seats and twelve loungers provide ample room for everyone. A large pool with broad, rounded entry steps lies below the house, bordered by a sunny terrace with three parasols and a handy outdoor shower. Steps lead to the house terrace and a veranda partly sheltered by the balcony above. Modern woven seating and a long dining table create inviting gathering spaces, with a built-in barbecue beside the covered area. An additional outdoor dining spot can be shaded by a sail-style awning. Floor-to-ceiling glazing connects the terraces with the interior. Large arched windows fill the spacious kitchen with light, while plentiful cupboards and an American-style counter offer generous storage.
