The villa

Perfect for a family or group of friends, this traditional Mas exudes charm with its elegant furnishings, warm colors, and gentle tones, creating a warm ambiance with its six bedrooms and four bathrooms. On the ground floor, the Mas consists of an entrance hall leading to a living room/lounge with a large fireplace and a separate dining room. A bright, independent kitchen is fully equipped with a very large fireplace, overlooking the terrace shaded by a pergola. There is also a small double bedroom and a separate laundry room. On the first floor is an extra bed and four double bedrooms with queen size beds and one twin bedroom with one shower rooms and two bathrooms & water closets. The 1.3 hectare garden is fenced with a terrace all along the Mas and the barn with shady corners either by the pergola or by its huge plane tree. The large heated swimming pool is secured by a fence and shutter immersed remote controlled. There is a large pool house with built-in bar and fully equipped summer kitchen (dishwasher, fridge, hotplates, espresso machine), an outdoor shower (hot water) a separate WC and a laundry area with washing machine and dryer for bath towels. There is a large outdoor terrace in front of the pool house with a large dining table and garden furniture. The landscape in this region is particularly picturesque, encompassing rolling hills dotted with quaint hilltop villages and countless hiking trails, extensive sunflower fields, olive groves and formidable area of vineyards. This region is steep with history with plenty of sites to visit Situated just south of Avignon, the villa is perfectly positioned between the idyllic villages of Les Alpilles National Park to the south and the lovely city of Avignon to the north. The local village of Graveson, Chateaurenard and Eyragues are only between 2 to 3 kilometers from the Mas and have picturesque old centers with pretty cafes and restaurants, boulangeries and grocery shops. To the south is the lively village of St Rémy de Provence just 5 kilometers away. It is a charming classical little town, capital of the Alpilles with all the amenities, boulangeries, little boutiques, quaint pavement cafes and excellent restaurants. On its winding cobbled lanes you will discover the small squares, historic buildings, churches and museums and on Wednesday the colorful weekly market will offer the opportunity to discover local products and handicrafts. Further south Les Baux de Provence is considered 'one of the most beautiful villages in France. Arles, Nîmes, Pont du Gard and Uzès and other towns can easily be visited in a day, and less than 45 minutes to the east is the Luberon region and further south, Camargue’s unique wetland populated by pink flamingos and wild horses. Avignon to the north with its UNESCO world heritage site, it’s magnificent Palais du Papes, which is one of the architectural wonders of France is just 16 kilometers away and would make an ideal day trip. Just north of Avignon is the Châteauneuf-du-Pape region for wine lovers as well.
