The villa

Set in three hectares (about 7.4 acres) with large grounds and charming well-kept gardens, this authentic Mas provides a relaxing and serene environment for guests to relax in style. The mas has six bedrooms, three double rooms and 3 twin bedrooms, with one bathroom and four shower rooms accommodating 12 guests. The Mas accommodation is comfortable, practical and spaciously arranged with modern and antique furniture harmonizing together, with two living rooms (one with a piano), a dining room opening to the terrace, and a fully modern equipped kitchen with bar counter. Upstairs are six bedrooms - three double and three twins, ideal for a family and children. The outdoor area is designed for your comfort with a pool fitted with a security alarm, two terraces with garden, comfy furniture and dining area. There is also a Pétanques/Boules court and private parking for up to 10 cars. This region has plenty to offer, apart from the charming picturesque village of Eygalières 1.7 kilometers away with its shops and cafes and restaurants. One can venture a little further such as the lively village of St Rémy, a charming classical little town, capital of the Alpilles with all the amenities, boulangeries, little boutiques, quaint pavement cafes and excellent restaurants. On its winding cobbled lanes you will discover the small squares, historic buildings, churches and museums, and on Wednesday the colorful weekly market will offer the opportunity to discover local products and handicrafts which is a must to see. A little further north of St Rémy is the magnificent walled city of Avignon, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, which boasts the gothic “Palace of the Popes”, a wonder not to be missed. Awe-inspiring Roman buildings and ruins are scattered everywhere in this Ancient Roman Province. The impressive triple-tiered aqueduct of the Pont du Gard and the massive arena in Arles are certainly worth a visit. Further southwest, under an hour’s drive, is the Camargue National Park, a fascinating wetland known for its pink flamingos, fighting bulls and wild horses, and which offers opportunities.
