Petit Mas

The villa

The Mas has four bedrooms & three bathrooms accommodating ideally six to eight guests and features a fenced swimming pool and mature garden. The Petit Mas consists of a large living room with a mezzanine level, sofa, and doors opening to the terrace.  There is a fully fitted kitchen and dining area with direct access to the terrace and garden. There is also a guests' cloakroom with WC & basin. On the ground floor is a double bedroom with a king size bed with its private bathroom and direct access to the terrace. On the upper for via the mezzanine level with an office there are three further bedrooms: one with a queen size bed and the other two small double 140 cm beds and two shower rooms. Outside is a peaceful mature garden of 2,200 square meters with dedicated areas of aromatic plants & sentinels and Florentine cypresses.  From the kitchen is a pretty little terrace playing "half shade, half sun". To the front of the Mas is a Bucolic scene. In front of the living room is a small pedestal table with its two chairs and other features such as a fountain facing the long marble table shaded by a stretched sail. The pool area is protected by an elegant wrought iron fence. The lap pool stretches 10.5 x 3.5 meters. There is a covered pool house of 30 square meters with dining area. A terrace at the end of the pool accommodates deckchairs for sun-bathing. There are shaded covered terraces making it possible to take meals sheltered from the ardent rays of the sun and a terrace on the west side for aperitifs with the setting sun. There is also ample parking. St Remy-de-Provence is just 4 kilometers away.  It is a charming classical little town, capital of the Alpille with amenities, boulangeries, little boutiques, quaint pavement cafes and excellent restaurants.  On its winding cobbled lanes you will discover the small squares, historic buildings, churches and museums. On Wednesday is the colorful weekly market, offering the opportunity to discover local products and handicrafts which is a must see. The landscape in this region is particularly picturesque, encompassing rolling hills dotted with quaint hilltop villages and countless hiking trails, extensive sunflower fields, and olive groves. This region is steep with history with plenty of sites to visit such as Les Baux de Provence, considered 'one of the most beautiful villages in France. Avignon, Arles, Nîmes and Uzès and the are other towns you can easily visit in a day, and at only 45 minutes to the east is the Luberon region and further south, Camargue’s unique wetland populated by pink flamingos and wild horses.
