The villa
Villa Il Guscio offers a peaceful Tuscan base for exploring Florence, Siena, Arezzo, Cortona, the Casentino and Val d'Orcia, with hiking on Pratomagno nearby. In a secluded, sunny residential setting, it lies 7.5 km from Terranuova Bracciolini. Its private fenced 1,000 m² garden has a 12 x 6 m pool, 1.4–2.5 m deep, open 2 May–26 September, plus an outdoor shower, furniture and barbecue. Facilities include a fitness room, billiards, table football and parking; massages and a cook can be arranged. Central heating is available only 1 November–27 March. Groceries are 900 m away, a restaurant 300 m and a bus stop 200 m. Youth groups are not accepted. The bright, stylish 400 m² house spans three levels. The ground floor has an entrance, a large open living room with fireplace and air conditioning, and an open air-conditioned dining room, both opening to the garden. One bedroom has a single and a double bed. The large kitchen includes an oven, dishwasher, six induction rings, toaster, kettle, microwave, freezer, coffee maker and pizza oven.
