The villa
Dating to 1300, La Terrazza is a detached stone farmhouse in a medieval rural complex once used by Camaldolese friars visiting Dicomano's Romanesque parish church. Set at 200 m above sea level, it comprises a main house and annex, 3.5 km from Vicchio and 37 km from Florence. The enclosed 3,000 m² garden has a private 14 x 7 m pool, open May–September, an outdoor shower, garden furniture and barbecue. Parking and an EV charger are on site; access includes 500 m of unpaved road. A car is recommended. The 300 m² house spans three levels. The ground floor includes a gallery, dining room, air-conditioned double and twin bedrooms, an air-conditioned kitchen with oven and dishwasher, and a bathroom with a whirlpool bath. Upstairs are two living rooms with fireplaces and satellite TV, one measuring 70 m², plus a living/dining room with a double sofa bed. Heating is available November 1–March 27. A laurel hedge separates part of the grounds from a neighbouring property about 30 m away. Lake Bilancino is 23 km away.
